Stuffing boots are a type of protectors that cover the top of shoes and cover the lower part of trouser legs. They are used to protect against snow, water, rocks, bushes or stones falling into shoes. Stuffing boots are useful all year round, not only during snowfall. They used to be used mainly during extreme winter expeditions. Today they are used during many outdoor activities. Stuffing boots are contoured and stiffened pieces of synthetic material, which are most often such materials as polyester, nylon or hypalon. They are characterized by high strength and tear resistance. Most of the stuptuts offered at Militaria.pl are enriched with rip-stop weave, which further strengthens their durability. Stuptuts usually cover the legs from the knees to the ankles, but some models are shorter. Selected models are equipped with a membrane, which protects against soaking and provides moisture wicking. The stuputs are fastened with a zipper or practical Velcro fasteners. Wide adjustment allows them to fit precisely to your footwear. Some of them are additionally equipped with a hook that can be attached to the laces. Additional attachment of the protectors to the laces stabilizes them in the right place and prevents moisture from getting through the tongue of the shoe. The stuputs are compact and lightweight, and do not take up much space in your backpack.
