Weapon mounting rails are useful components that allow you to easily and safely mount additional accessories. For example, a scope, optical sight, flashlight, foregrip and many others can be placed on the mounting rail. The use of mounting rails provides the shooter with the ability to customize the weapon for a specific task or for his own preferences.
One of the most commonly used rails is Picatinny. This one is characterized by parallel grooves with strictly defined dimensions. A similar design is used in the Weaver rail. The difference between Picatinny and Weaver is the narrower grooves in the latter. For this reason, accessories designed for the Weaver rail will fit the Picatinny, but this will not work in reverse.
The R.I.S (Rail Interface System) rail has a very simple design, similar to Picatinny - grooves are cut along the length of the rail, and accessories are mounted with a bolt passing through the ladders. It is most often used in light machine guns and assault rifles. Most accessories on RIS can also be mounted on a Picatinny rail.
The KeyMod rail is a bit more modern. Its system was based on mounting holes of different shapes. The MLOK rail was constructed similarly. In the offer of the Militaria.pl store you will find various mounting rails, which will be compatible with both ASG weapon replicas and firearm models.
