Boker Plus Rocket Titan Folding Knife

Compact folding knife type pocket knife designed by Darriel Caston. The blade with a Sheepfoot profile is made from 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel, which is known for good edge retention. The handle is made of titanium, and the blade is locked in the open position with a Liner Lock.

9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel

The blade is made from 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel, which is characterized by good corrosion resistance and good edge retention. With proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness level of 58–60 HRC, contributed by the addition of cobalt.

Sheepfoot profile blade, Bead Blast finish

The smooth blade with a Sheepfoot profile has a length of 44 mm and a thickness of 3.2 mm. It is executed with a symmetrical flat grind, providing good cutting control and easy sharpening. The blade finish using the sandblasting method (Bead Blast) gives it a uniform, matte surface, enhances aesthetics, and minimizes light reflections, ensuring discretion.

Titanium handle

The knife handle combines modern design with lightweight and durable titanium, providing high resistance to mechanical damage. At the end of the grip, there is a hole for threading a cord, preventing loss.

Stable liner lock

The knife is opened using a notch in the blade (thumb slot), allowing the blade to be conveniently deployed with one hand. In the open position, the blade is locked by a Liner Lock, known for its strength and stability.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Boker.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

9Cr13MoV (9Cr13) feature
9Cr13MoV (9Cr13)
9Cr13MoV (9Cr13) is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel of Chinese origin with high hardness, good corrosion and abrasion resistance. It contains approximately 0.85% carbon, which is responsible for its high hardness and ability to maintain sharpness. Chromium (approx. 13.5%) provides stainless properties and oxidation resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium (approx. 0.2% each) increase wear resistance and improve the structure of the steel, which translates into cutting edge stability. When properly hardened, the steel achieves a hardness of 58-60 HRC, offering a good combination of edge durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. It is often used in EDC, kitchen, and outdoor knives.
Titanium feature
Titanium
Titanium is a lightweight, extremely durable metal widely used in knife manufacturing, especially in handles, locks, and structural elements. It is characterized by a very high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance, even in contact with salt water. Titanium is slightly more difficult to machine than steel or aluminum, but it can be anodized to produce durable and attractive surfaces in a variety of colors. This material is also hypoallergenic, does not conduct heat as intensely as steel, and is not magnetized. Due to its strength, chemical resistance, and relatively low weight, titanium is used in tactical knives, EDC knives, and premium models designed for intensive use.
Bead Blast feature
Bead Blast
Bead Blast is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel with a stream of fine ceramic or glass beads under high pressure. It gives the surface a uniform matte, satin-gray appearance without any light reflections. The surface obtained in the sandblasting process is smooth and aesthetic, but due to micro-pores, it may be slightly more susceptible to wear and corrosion if the blade is not properly protected. Nevertheless, Bead Blast is valued for its simplicity, discretion, and masking properties, which is why it is used in EDC, outdoor, and military knives.
