Boker Plus Urban Survival Folding Knife - Black

Folding knife designed by Jim Wagner, drawing attention with its unusual silhouette and aggressive style inspired by tactical designs. Slim handle line combined with a characteristically shaped blade gives the model a dynamic look and makes it stand out among classic EDC folders. Small size makes the tool easy to carry in a pocket, organizer, or attached to a belt.

blade with a Modified Tanto profile

The model features a curved blade with a Modified Tanto profile and dynamic line, with a strongly shaped cutting edge and a slim point. Characteristically led spine gives the blade a technical appearance and facilitates precise cuts.

440C stainless steel

The blade, with a length of 40 mm, is made of 440C stainless steel, valued for its good corrosion resistance, durability, and ease of re-sharpening. The blade is coated with a black protective coating, which reduces light reflections and protects the steel surface from minor scratches.

aluminum handle with a textured finish

The profiled handle is made of aluminum finished with a textured surface improving grip on the hand. The ergonomic shape and subtle finger grooves enhance control over the knife during work.

The slim design makes the model fit well in the hand while maintaining compact dimensions when folded. Black color scheme of the entire construction emphasizes the technical character of the tool.

liner lock and thumb stud

The knife is opened using a double-sided thumb stud, allowing quick blade preparation for work with both right and left hand. The blade is locked by a proven Liner Lock system. The lock stabilizes the blade during use and limits the risk of accidental closure.

springy clip and glass breaker

The handle features a springy clip allowing for convenient attachment of the knife to a pocket, belt, or gear edge. This solution facilitates quick access to the folder during daily use.

At the rear of the handle, there is a replaceable glass breaker. This element can be useful in emergency situations, rescue operations, or fieldwork.

440C feature
440C
440C steel is a martensitic stainless steel from the 440 series, characterized by the highest carbon content in this series, ranging from 0.95 to 1.2%. This gives it a hardness of 57-59 HRC, which ensures excellent edge retention, chipping resistance, and durability. The chromium content (16-18%) guarantees very good corrosion resistance, making 440C steel suitable for use in humid conditions. Molybdenum additives (up to 0.75%) improve abrasion resistance and structural stability during hardening. Manganese and silicon (up to 1%) increase the hardenability and overall strength of the material, while low phosphorus and sulfur content reduce brittleness. 440C steel is widely used in the manufacture of high-end knives, including kitchen knives, folding knives, and professional tactical knives. It is also popular among craftsmen who produce custom-made knives, where high material quality and wear resistance are required.
Aluminium feature
Aluminium
Aluminum is a lightweight and durable material widely used in knife manufacturing, especially in handles and structural elements. It is characterized by low weight, high corrosion resistance, and high susceptibility to machining and anodizing, which allows for durable, aesthetic surfaces in various colors. Well-chosen aluminum alloys provide adequate rigidity while maintaining low weight, which makes knives more comfortable to carry on a daily basis. In addition, this material is weather-resistant, does not rust, and withstands intensive use well, which is why it is used in tactical knives, EDC knives, and outdoor tools.
