The Celestron SLT telescope series is equipped with lightweight short catadioptric optical tubes and single-arm azimuth mounts, featuring the modern GoTo system. This advanced system enables automated sky object searches, making it especially useful for tracking faint celestial bodies. The RedDot finder simplifies the process of locating prominent celestial objects.

Featuring a 102 mm aperture and a 660 mm focal length, the telescope’s corrector plate comes with an anti-reflective coating to reduce light loss. Focus adjustment is performed using a control knob situated at the back of the optical tube.
The single-arm azimuth mount integrates the GoTo system and an equatorial wedge, with the option to run off batteries for enhanced mobility.
Operated with the NexStar controller, which includes a 4000-object database, the mount is computer-connectable for use with notable astronomy software—an RS232-USB adapter is needed for this configuration.
A premium eyepiece with a 25 mm focal length provides a wide, 1.7-degree field of view.
