The smallest Higo in my collection fits everywhere, even in a wallet, and the steel is simply excellent. It holds sharpness for a long time and restoring shaving sharpness takes only a moment.

Folding knife inspired by traditional Japanese blades from the late 19th century. The name Higonokami combines "Higo no Kami," meaning "lord of Higo" in Japanese—a prestigious title once given to samurai from the Higo province.
The blade is crafted from SK5 tool steel, offering durability, excellent resistance to cracking, chipping, and dulling, and is straightforward to sharpen. Featuring a friction folder mechanism, the knife has no locking system; when open, the user's grip secures the blade during demanding tasks.
A simple handle formed from a single piece of steel enables the blade to fold within the handle, ensuring safe transport. A handle hole allows for attaching a lanyard or keychain.

The knife has only one flaw: carbon steel requires maintenance. For me, it's a must-have in a collection. It arrived sharp as a razor (I can't sharpen a knife to that level yet). Small and thin, can be attached to your keys or kept in a wallet. Good quality steel—if you take care of it, it will reward you.

Spartan workmanship, but that's exactly the point, and the knife itself is sharpened like a razor from the factory. There is nothing in the knife that can break, which is beautiful in its simplicity. Small, crude, awfully sharp, perfect for my collection.
-
Small, lightweight knife made of good steel. I recommend it to the undecided.
-
Perfect for keys, small and thin.

If someone needs a knife to hide in a wallet, it will be a good choice... because it is small and the handle is flat, the blade is interestingly rather thick, spartan workmanship.
-
Wonderful knife with an interesting history! Ideal gift.
-
Very nice, atmospheric little knife. Suitable for small "office" tasks as well as opening more sturdy packages.
-
The knife is worth its price: simple and sharp... In my opinion, simplicity is an advantage here. The ergonomics may not suit everyone, but for this price I think it's worth it. A good folder for a laughable price.
-
Very sharp, small knife. Ingenious in its simplicity.

Another Higonokami knife for me. The simplicity of its construction is overwhelming. I recommend it to the undecided.

Beautiful knife. Its simplicity captivated me. Great steel, holds sharpness well. The next model I will buy is SK5 3.75 ;) I recommend it.
-
Small, light, durable with a unique look and a blade of excellent steel.
-
Interesting, substitute knife, strangely made but fulfills its role, perfect as an emergency backup.
