Specna Arms SA-F01 Flex in the Half-Tan version is a great option for players looking for a lightweight, handy, and at the same time sturdy replica for dynamic gameplay. The construction is well-fitted, nothing creaks, and the whole thing gives a very positive impression right out of the box. The replica is light, so it is perfect for longer games and CQB.
Electric replica of the Flex series assault carbine. The external barrel, flame suppressor, reloading handle and manipulators are made of metal. All screws and pins, as well as the shell ejection window and dummy lock are steel. The body, front, pistol grip and receiver extension were manufactured from nylon fiber reinforced polymer. Specna Arms markings were applied to the replica along with serial number.
The 22 mm RIS rail on the back allows the mounting of any optoelectronic device. Mechanical sighting devices in the form of a front sight and a peep sight were included in its default settings. A free-float front grip with short RIS rails is used to mount additional tactical equipment.
Thanks to the adjustable stock, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the build and preferences of the shooter. A non-slip texture was applied to the pistol grip and the recoil pad. The flash suppressor is mounted on a standard 14 mm left-hand thread.
At the heart of the replica is a reinforced v2 gearbox with 8 mm plain bearings, padded steel gears, a steel interrupter and a polycarbonate piston with a steel slat.
The replica uses the ESA quick-change spring system, allowing the performance of the replica to be easily adapted to the type of game. The kit includes the M90 spring, which allows to lower the default initial velocity of 375 FPS to a level of ~300 FPS, thus adapting the replica to CQB competition.
Thanks to its robust components, the carbine in its default configuration can work with M140 springs. The carbine is fitted with a 6.03 mm precision barrel and a rotating Hop-up chamber. The replica is adapted to connect a battery with a Tamiya small plug.

The rifle body is made of plastic, but very high quality. The gun has no play, shoots perfectly at medium range. Ordered as a gift with engraving, looks really nice. The only downside is you have to buy the battery separately, but you find that with most models unfortunately.

In general, I don't know if it's the best budget one because it's my second replica, but it works awesome with M140 spring + 11.1 battery and 0.28 BBs, there’s no problem hitting a target at 70 meters, it's on a bit of a drop but still hits.

Excellent rifle, works great on the range, I've never regretted buying it. The minus is that some parts are a bit loose and you can't really upgrade them. Plus side: good drive for this price, shoots well on the range, lots of RIS rails, you can install many external body kits. I definitely recommend it to beginners.

The replica is well assembled. It has already been to four games and I must say it performs surprisingly well. Handy and light, decent range, satisfactory rate of fire, perfect for starting out with ASG. The light construction might seem low quality but it's not, the material is strong and durable. Few metal parts but that keeps the price reasonable. The only thing I don't like is the sight base, which is slightly crooked from the factory, making aiming impossible, but it doesn't bother me since I don’t use those sights. I just go by the BB's flight. In summary, so far I'm satisfied and I recommend this replica.
