The knife is simply amazing. The high price was a barrier for me, but as a fan of Bowie knives I can say it's worth every penny. It looks beautiful in person and the quality is similar to Japanese knives. It's hard to recommend a knife at this price and for such a narrow range of use. But as an investment to display, it is truly a good option.

The blade is made of high-carbon O-1 tool steel - hard, durable, with very good impact strength (resistance to cracking and chipping), holding sharpness for a very long time. The blade is hand-polished. The knife has been balanced in such a way that most of the weight of the knife rests on the side of the blade making it an excellent tool for chopping.
The handle of the knife is made of trusson. The non-slip texture provides a secure grip, and the double-sided hilt further protects the hand from slipping on the blade. At the end of the handle is a hole reinforced with a through rivet intended for a safety line or thong.
The Secure-Ex plastic holster has numerous holes to provide multiple options for mounting to your equipment.
