Each school that hosts classes for uniformed classes specifies in its internal regulations what equipment each student should prepare. One of the items of student equipment in a military class is a uniform backpack. Although each school may specify different features or a specific model of backpack, each should come in the camouflage that is currently used in the uniform of the Polish Army. Currently, the Polish Armed Forces use the WZ.93 "Panther" camouflage. In this category you will find various models of backpacks that can be found in the equipment of a student of a uniformed class.
When choosing a backpack for a uniformed class, it is worth paying attention to its capacity, the materials it is made of, and the compartments and pockets. The optimal capacity will be 30 liters, although larger models are also available, such as backpacks with a capacity of 40, 50, 60 or even 70 liters. Given the nature of field operations, it is worthwhile for a uniform backpack to be durable and resistant to abrasion or tearing. Often, a very durable material such as Cordura, which is also used in backpacks used by the military, is used for this type of backpack. The other popular material is 1000D polyester, which has equally good durability, and at the same time products made from it come at a lower price.
Another important element is the carrying system, which is largely responsible for the comfort of the backpack. The backpack of a student of a uniformed class on the occasion of various exercises can be significantly loaded. For this reason, a good choice will be a backpack equipped with a hip belt, a chest strap and adequate back padding and ventilation. A good backpack for a uniformed class student should also be equipped with a MOLLE trouser system. Thanks to this system, it is possible to expand the backpack with additional elements like organizers, pouches or pockets, which will increase its capacity. Velcro panels will also prove useful, thanks to which the student can personalize the backpack, for example, adding emblems or morale patches.
