Fjord Nansen is a well-known Polish brand offering camping, expedition and hiking products. Fjord Nansen brand backpacks are characterized by thoughtful and functional design and made of durable materials. Among others, thin and lightweight, but at the same time extremely durable diamond-textured nylon or special, densely woven oxford polyester with very high tear resistance are used in production. The places where the backpack meets the back are manufactured from highly breathable fabrics such as mesh.
Fjord Nansen backpacks range from small models for use in the city or during short off-road excursions to capacious hiking backpacks that can be used during multi-day treks. For this reason, the Polish manufacturer's backpacks are very often compatible with hydration systems. This allows you to put a water reservoir in them, which makes it much easier to hydrate your body during intense activities such as hiking in the mountains. In many models you can also find useful straps that allow you to attach trekking poles, for example.
In smaller backpacks, the main compartment generally closes with a zipper, while in larger ones the main compartment is closed with a chimney and flap, giving the backpack more capacity. A comfortable carrying system is standard, allowing you to use Fjord Nansen backpacks for many hours. The larger models use wide hip belts, so that the weight of the backpack is mostly on the hips rather than the shoulders. The use of hip and chest straps also makes the backpack stable on the back.
