A 40 l backpack engineered for climbing, urban excursions, and cycling stands out as a versatile option for a wide range of outdoor pursuits. Ergonomics inside the backpack have been prioritized to enhance user experience. A state-of-the-art carrying system—the INSULAR MAPPING SYSTEM—utilizes foam panels wrapped in breathable mesh, strategically positioned where loads are most concentrated. This system improves back ventilation and promotes a balanced weight distribution. Enhanced by two aluminum strips, the construction maintains stability and optimal comfort, even when fully loaded.
A variety of functional features further augment the backpack’s practicality. For added portability, the chest strap and waist belt are equipped with extra stretch pockets. A connecting strap links the top under-flap section to the front mesh pocket, providing secure storage for a helmet or outer layer. Additional organization is offered by spacious pockets, including a zippered compartment with a key carabiner in the lid, a large front mesh pocket, and expandable side mesh compartments for small essentials.
Two compression straps on each side make it easy to compress the load. Gear transport is further supported by dedicated trekking pole attachments fashioned from webbing and elastic with stoppers. For speedy access, the front panel’s design allows the main compartment to be unzipped along its full length. Straps with buckles at the bottom provide additional options for securing extra gear.
Hydration compatibility is achieved via an internal open sleeve and a side hose exit, simplifying the use of a Hydration system on extended hikes. All zippers rely on the trusted SBS brand, ensuring a robust and long-lasting closure system.
