Side-loading carbine windcheaters are the most convenient windcheaters for shooting while lying down. Like other types of spring-loaded windcheaters, these carbines are equipped with a tension lever, however, in this case it is located on the side of the cylinder. The shot in side-loading windguns is fired by compressed air. The use of a spring drive allows for economical operation - no separate power supply or additional accessories are required for operation. Ease of operation and safety of use.
Side-loading carbines are the third type of spring-loaded windcheaters. Carbines of this type got their name from their distinctive mechanism layout. A lever located on the side of the cylinder - on the left or right side of the body - is responsible for the tension. Such a system allows comfortable and easy shooting in a recumbent position - you do not need to change position to pull the reloading levers. As with bottom-loading air rifles, the barrel remains stationary while the mechanism is pulled.
Side-loading windcheaters come in classic designs, as well as in designs similar to the buttless system - bullpup. Bases of this type of windchests are made of varnished wood or durable plastic. On the back of the cylinder in the side-loading carbines there is an 11mm mounting rail, thanks to which any target scope can be mounted on it. Mounting the scope allows for long and accurate shots. Windsock side-loading carbines are an excellent choice for both novice and advanced shooters.
