Thermoactive pants, boxers, shorts and shorts are the first layer of clothing that is in direct contact with our body. Their task is to effectively wick away the moisture generated by our body and make us feel comfortable in any situation. This applies to both summer and winter seasons. Due to their properties, thermoactive pants and shorts are used not only for competitive sports or hiking, but also as underwear on cold winter days, effectively replacing traditional cotton underpants.
The first layer of thermal clothing is underwear, as it is closest to the skin. Its primary task is to collect the moisture that appears on the surface of the body in the form of sweat and carry it away to subsequent layers of clothing and evaporate it later. Thus allowing to maintain an optimal microclimate. Another important function that thermoactive shorts perform is to protect against rapid cooling of the body. Such properties can only be achieved through the use of properly woven synthetic fibers or merino sheep wool.
In order for thermal underwear to fully perform its functions, it is important to choose the right size, especially in the case of thermal pants. Thermal underwear works best when it fits and lies close to the body, as this allows the fastest transport of moisture. In addition, it must not hinder or restrict the wearer's movements. An excellent complement to thermal underwear are thermal jackets, used as a top layer of clothing.
