However, what exactly is the outdoors? The term is used to describe any form of outdoor activity, as well as for the identification of clothing and footwear intended for such activities. Outdoor activities include: hiking, climbing, paintballing, fishing, survival activities, bushcraft and many other areas.
The outdoors is not only a physical activity, but also a specific philosophy. It is a desire to spend leisure time in close contact with nature, building a relationship with it and drawing strength from it. The philosophy of the outdoors also emphasises the development of survival skills.

Outdoor clothing is simply clothing designed to be worn outdoors during various physical activities. It is synonymous with qualities such as toughness, resistance to damage, lightness and durability.
