Very comfortable shoes for people who walk a lot. Already on the first walk you could feel that they don't need to be broken in for long. They stabilize the foot well, and the sole provides solid traction on various surfaces such as dirt, stones or wet grass. The membrane effectively protects against water and rain, so the feet usually stay dry. I also appreciate that the shoes don't feel heavy or impractical, and their comfort resembles trekking shoes. This is a great choice for trips, outdoor activities or everyday wear in colder months.

M Select Dry is Merrell's proprietary membrane-based technology that protects against water and wind penetration. It efficiently wicks moisture away from the inside of the shoe by using breathable materials.
Vibram TC5+ is a type of rubber sole characterized by very good traction and grip, both on wet and dry surfaces. In addition, it protects the foot from uneven terrain and cushions any impact.
Comfortbase is a contoured, ergonomically designed insole that provides full heel support and flexibility in the midfoot area. It reduces foot and leg fatigue during prolonged wearing of shoes. With a system of channels and holes, it provides adequate ventilation.
Merrell Air Cushion is a midsole with extra air cushion that absorbs shock when walking while providing maximum support to the foot. This translates into greater comfort, control and stability needed for outdoor footwear.

I bought these shoes with hiking in mind, I'm a fan of the Merrell brand and I really like their look and color. They are not too wide, which sometimes happens with other manufacturers. The craftsmanship is very solid, as is the case with Merrell. They are very comfortable to wear, have well-cushioned soles, and at the same time are lightweight. The price on this site, as usual, is great. I saw that in other reviews there are complaints that the shoes are not fully waterproof – I will see during use, although I am not too concerned about this.

The shoes are light and flexible. They provide good cushioning, and the soft outer sole softens every step. The 'Waterproof' membrane is not as high-quality as 'GoreTex', but during rainfall, it performs just as effectively.
-
Comfortable shoes, they hold the foot well and that's where it ends. The membrane is terrible; just a little water and they soak through. Feet sweat a lot in them, and I used them from November to March. On warm days, it's probably a disaster. Where there is artificial leather, it starts cracking after a few months of use. I do not recommend.

I bought these shoes and I'm really happy with my choice! From the first time I put them on, the Merrell Moab gives a sense of stability and comfort – the sole with good cushioning grips various surfaces excellently, and the upper, made from a combination of leather and durable materials, makes the shoes feel extremely sturdy and ready for different terrain conditions. Thanks to the membrane used, your foot stays dry even during longer walks on wet ground, which is a big plus for everyday use and outdoor activities (still, remember to use waterproofing!). Additionally, the ergonomic fit and spacious front of the shoe ensure that, even after several hours of walking, your feet don’t feel excessively tired. The overall impression is very positive – the shoes seem durable, comfortable, and well-made, and their grip... is truly at a high level. Tip for purchase: it’s worth paying particular attention to the sizing chart, as the sizes tend to run a bit small.

I highly recommend it. I've been testing them for the second week at work. In December weather conditions, that is, temperatures from 5 to -5 degrees, they worked well during outdoor activities. Fairly wide in the toes, which may matter to some people.

This Merrell boot is extremely comfortable. Even after wearing it for many hours, it does not tire your feet; the rubber sole has excellent grip and outstanding flexibility.

I have just bought another pair, model 3, after 4 years of using the Moab 2 Mid Tactical Waterproof. In my subjective opinion, the version 2 was/is slightly more fitted to my foot, although I don't remember exactly how it felt 4 years ago. I never washed or waterproofed them, and only after 4 years did they start to leak. After washing them in the washing machine and waterproofing them, they're good again. I wear them every day for 2 hours in the forest, through grass, mud, puddles. Now I've bought model 3 and I hope it will be similar. Brilliant boots, I wear size 43 and that's what I buy, I have wide midfoot and it's fine. Highly recommended. Attached are photos of the 4-year-old second pair.

Water resistance only on paper. After walking through small puddles, socks get wet. The membrane does not have resistance to soaking even after applying impregnation.
-
These are my second shoes from this brand, because after several years of use in different terrain and weather conditions, my previous pair is slowly reaching the end of its life. They performed excellently, so there’s no point experimenting, I bought the same kind again. I highly recommend them.
-
Shoes are a very individual matter. For me, these shoes are ideal when it comes to cut and comfort. After a few days from the first use, I bought a second identical pair. I wear this type of shoes for about 10 hours a day, and even after 10 hours I don’t feel like I have shoes on my feet. I can recommend this product. The order from militaria.pl was, as usual, fast and hassle-free.
-
Overall, the footwear is comfortable and light, but I wouldn't exaggerate about them not getting wet. A walk through a dew-covered meadow and your feet get wet. I don't know where this membrane that's supposed to protect against soaking is.
-
The latest model of the series, I've also used previous models. I have no complaints about the shoes. Light, comfortable, practically suitable for any season. I recommend them!
-
Merrell has long since lowered the quality of its products. As for this model: waterproofing is there... but no breathability at all. After a few days in the woods (about 5-6°C, high humidity) my feet were so blistered that my toenails came off. Dirty with mud and soil, impossible to clean... after washing twice, they remain deformed at the front, the GoreTex seems to be delaminating, and the sole is starting to come off a little. Maybe they're ok for a few hours in the rain in the Karkonosze, but to advertise them as nearly combat boots... laughable.

The shoes are durable and strong, this is my next pair from this reliable brand, the shoes perfectly stabilize the foot and are as light as a feather. They work perfectly in extreme conditions and, importantly, they are waterproof.
