The Friction Loc series stands as ASP's most time-tested line of batons, developed throughout many years and featuring a classic locking mechanism which utilizes the wedging effect of conical surfaces where the segments are pressed together. Baton segments are crafted from hardened 4140 steel, providing a 25% strength advantage compared to the 4130 grade commonly used in baton manufacturing.

The F16FB model measures 16 inches (40 cm) in length and is equipped with a comfortable and soft Foam grip (foam rubber). Each segment is finished with a tough Black Chrome coating.
