The ASP 50cm telescopic baton has served me well for many years. Fortunately, it has never broken and I have never had to use it for self-defense on the street. The handle is durable and pleasant to the touch. The package from militaria.pl arrived to me very quickly. I recommend it.
ASP Talon stands as the Rolls-Royce of expandable batons—offering unparalleled ease of extension and retraction under any conditions, while retaining exceptional durability and dependability expected of gear protecting one's health or life. Designed for both uniformed professionals and civilians who prioritize uncompromised safety:
Talon represents a ground-breaking expandable baton, capable of being collapsed without the need to strike against a hard surface or apply excessive force. This is made possible by the advanced DiscLoc lock, disengaged by a button located at the base of the handle.
The DiscLoc mechanism uses two pairs of interlocking half-disks, which, powered by springs placed between them, secure themselves to the notches within the baton’s segments. Release is achieved via a steel rod linked to the activation button:
Among the key advantages of the ASP Talon baton is the capability to deploy and secure the segments without needing a swinging motion. Expanding the baton is as simple as pulling the end cap extending from the handle. This feature offers a significant benefit when silent, discreet extension is required, or in environments where swinging open the baton is impractical, such as:
- narrow hallways
- public transit vehicles
- elevators
- densely packed crowds
The 50 cm variant features a robust black Cerakote coating along with an ergonomic foam grip for enhanced comfort.

Good quality equipment

It was worth spending so much money on such an excellent quality product. A beautiful item; the handle’s decoration is a work of art. The ability to discreetly unfold it increases its usability in tight spaces and in public transport. I recommend it to all men and women of class who take their safety seriously and want to have something reliable, made from solid materials, and pleasing to the eye. I would also recommend buying a holster, which increases the baton’s functionality.

Excellent product. After purchasing, you need to practice often so that in case of an emergency, you’re confident in your movements. For beginners: perform swings with a steady wrist (it should be in a straight line with the forearm), because the weight and centrifugal force do their job, straining the wrist and increasing the risk that the baton will slip from your hand while swinging or after hitting the target, which can end badly. Mine accompanies me everywhere, although it hasn’t been ‘battle-tested’ yet.

Just the sight of the baton before unfolding would make me run away. Build quality is very good. It fits well in the hand.

Fantastic baton. I am especially impressed with the closing system. You press the button and the baton folds instantly. This is especially useful for training at home. The product is worth its price. The baton is ideal for men - due to the weight being over 0.5 kg. Even just extending the baton makes an impression. For women, I recommend the ASP 40 cm model. It is much lighter.

The price is quite high, but the quality of workmanship is truly impressive.

Probably the most handy length. The thin foam texture ensures it fits perfectly in a sweaty hand. The slight looseness people mention in various forums is due to the baton's construction and is unavoidable. It requires more force to extend because of the locking system. The only possible downside is the lack of a holster in the set. On the other hand, this allows you to buy one that suits you instead of increasing the price by adding it to the kit. I recommend the article from the provided link ;-)

Great. Only after unfolding it has a bit of play.
-
Wonderful baton! Top quality workmanship.
-
Solid baton. The price is high but the quality of workmanship is evident.
-
Great product. The grip cover fits well even in a sweaty hand, and the button makes it easy to unfold quietly and quickly fold the baton.
-
Everything as described, I recommend it!
