The Talon represents a breakthrough in expandable batons, allowing it to be closed without striking a hard surface or applying excessive force in other ways. Innovative DiscLoc locking mechanism, activated by a button at the base of the handle, enables this feature.
Utilizing the DiscLoc lock, two pairs of partially overlapping discs, powered by internal springs, securely engage with notches in the baton’s sections. Releasing the baton is achieved with a steel rod connected to the handle’s button:

(continued) When folding, I can't imagine banging it on a hard surface. Here, you just press a button and the baton folds smoothly. No need to hit anything. The baton doesn't get scratched. The handle is made of dense, thin foam that feels secure and solid to the touch. When buying, it’s worth considering the length. Here, all locks and grips work and the distance from the attacker is greater, but carrying it hidden in your pocket is more difficult.

Before buying the baton, I checked out a few at military supply stores. The weight is noticeably heavier, but that's a plus – it means the materials are solid. It's scary to think what could happen when it hits. The swing plus the weight of the baton really make a difference. Opening it by hand is brilliant – it's practically silent. You only hear two quiet clicks when the segments lock. Of course, you can also open it with a swing for a better effect, and that works without issue as well. -rest in the second entry because there are only 500 characters

A solid baton, fits well in the hand. I received it by courier recently. I am very satisfied. It opens and closes very quickly. A big plus is the option to open it quietly!!! In my opinion, the craftsmanship is top-notch, but the price is a bit too high. Definitely the best telescopic baton of all. The price is high, but what equipment!!! I recommend it!!

Baton purchased today in Krakow. (regards to Krakow – best service :) ) Besides high-quality workmanship, which is not mentioned in the description, the grip of the baton is very comfortable, covered with some kind of rubber/foam, which makes it fit very well in the hand. Highly recommended.
