At first, it seemed really good, but unfortunately, after the second tactical training, its flaws started to show. The straps in places where they should be finished with stitching to keep the belt from coming undone are simply cut and left unfinished, so the shoulder strap sometimes comes undone by itself while marching. After the third training, one of the shoulder straps almost tore off; the only thing that saved it was the reinforcement carrying the whole weight, and it barely lasted to the end. The hip belt also unfastened itself and got lost in the forest due to poorly sewn straps. As for attaching a mat and sleeping bag to the backpack, it's tough—you need to buy something to attach accessories because there is nothing included from the factory.

Badger Outdoor Assault Recon 40 l Backpack - Olive
A patrol backpack with a capacity of 40 litres is suitable for hiking and survival as well as everyday use in the city. Thanks to its carry system with contoured shoulder straps, waist belt and fastex quick-release buckles, it provides a high level of comfort. Four pockets, two compartments and the MOLLE carrying system allow easy organisation and expansion of equipment.
Convenient storage system - 2 main compartments, numerous pockets
The Recon 40L is equipped with four main pockets, allowing for optimal organisation of equipment. Two compartments hold larger items such as a sleeping bag, food or clothing. The larger compartment has an additional flat pocket for smaller items, with a zip closure. The smaller compartment has a flat pocket and two mesh pockets to help organise and quickly find smaller items.
Two pockets on the front of the backpack - a larger lower pocket and a smaller upper pocket - are designed for small items of equipment. The lower pocket contains an organiser for documents and keys, while the upper pocket is ideal for carrying a phone, glasses or navigation.
Special pocket for the System or Hydration Cartridge
There is a velcro-closed compartment on the outer back of the backpack for a hydration cartridge. It allows you to carry a supply of water conveniently, while providing quick access to hydration without having to remove bottles. This pocket is discreetly positioned and well secured to protect the cartridge from damage during walking and more challenging off-road activities.
High-quality zips and MOLLE webbing system
All pockets of the backpack are closed with thick, spiral zips with double zips, which ensures their smooth and quick opening.
The backpack is also equipped with the MOLLE webbing system - tapes placed on the front and sides of the backpack allow additional equipment to be attached. D-rings located on the braces allow the attachment of tactical elements.
Compression straps and capacity adjustment
The Recon 40L allows you to adjust its external size to suit its contents thanks to the compression straps, which are located on both sides, the bottom and the top. By shortening the straps, the backpack can be flattened, which helps to keep it stable and neat, even when the compartments are partially empty.
Profiled self-detachable shoulder straps, detachable waist belt
The backpack features an advanced carry system for comfort and stability. The padded shoulder straps are equipped with QD (Quick Detachment) fastex closures, allowing the backpack to be quickly released when required. The adjustable harness allows for a perfect fit, while additional support is provided by a chest strap and a detachable hip belt to help carry heavier loads stably.

Very nice, spacious backpack. I think it's worth its price. High quality materials and workmanship. The hip and chest straps help take the load off your back. Plus, it's very nice looking. Especially attractive on sale.
-
The first impression is good: the backpack is divided into two large compartments, one of which (the biggest) opens completely, it's quite spacious. The small pocket is ideal for a first aid kit. The zippers seem solid. A big problem is the straps—none of the straps are sewn at the ends, so they come undone when you carry the backpack with other gear such as a vest. After the first use, the strap that supports the backpack on the belt and the chest-stiffening straps fell off.
-
A spacious backpack made of strong material, equipped with main and smaller pockets that allow you to properly divide and organize equipment for survival or mountain hikes. The MOLLE attachment system lets you carry extra gear, and the adjustable straps help distribute all the weight. Great backpack in its price category.

This backpack is fantastic, very well made. It holds a lot and is bigger than advertised. Thanks to its small size, it's versatile. The price is also fantastic for a product of this caliber. I recommend it, it's easily enough for a 2-day trip.
-
Backpack bought for work on a crane. Spacious, what stands out unfortunately is the average quality of the waterproof lining, but apart from that, the backpack is really solid. At this price, it's definitely worth it. The number of pockets and straps that help relieve the zippers are a plus.

So far, positive impressions, I haven't noticed any quality flaws. It's relatively roomy and well organized. We'll see how it performs in the field.
-
Very spacious backpack despite its small size. You can easily fit clothes for 2-3 days in it. A huge advantage is the adjustment of the shoulder straps, which allows you to adapt the backpack to the items being carried. The hip and chest straps don't dig in, even when the backpack is heavily loaded. For this price, it's definitely worth recommending.

If you're looking for a backpack for trips, I highly recommend it. I have an old, slightly smaller backpack from China and, wow...the difference is huge. Not only is it actually much bigger, but you can also feel that the material is of much better quality. I put my sleeping bag in a regular bag and attached a tent to the side, and there’s still plenty of space left.
-
Comfortable, spacious, well-stitched, no manufacturing defects, a lot of nooks and compartments. The straps are comfortable, even with a heavy load. As for durability, we’ll see.
-
Wonderful backpack, the quality of the material and stitching fully satisfied me. The straps have plenty of adjustments that allow you to conveniently fit them for yourself. Also, thank you for the fast delivery!
-
Very nice backpack, spacious. I use it to carry things for airsoft—helmet, ammo, magazine chargers, batteries, stalker masks, etc., and it holds a lot more. The backpack fits very nicely and comfortably on the back. The carrying straps are also nice.
-
Very good backpack. It has large zippers that seem strong and move very smoothly, which is a big advantage. The backpack is roomy and also quite tall, but because of that, it looks sleek. It has two large compartments—independent of each other—and two small ones. There are also small organizers in the large compartments. On the back, there is an additional, larger compartment with velcro.
-
Very practical backpack. Well made - that is, made from good materials. It's enough to pack clothes for a few days trip. I am satisfied with its purchase.

I used this shoe backpack on a trip to the slopes. I first stored ski boots in it and then changed into other walking shoes. Very durable zippers, solid construction. For this money, I wouldn't buy anything else; store-branded ones broke after a few days, but this one is still holding up.
