Baofeng EU-5R Mini is a compact handheld Duobander (dual-band) transceiver offering up to 5 W of output power. Features include a full keypad, an LCD screen, an integrated flashlight, and built-in FM radio. Power is supplied by a 2200 mAh battery with a USB-C charging port.

Outfitted with a Dual Watch feature, the radio enables users to monitor two channels at once. Communication is maintained on the primary frequency while the secondary frequency is also monitored. Channel switching is efficiently managed via a dedicated button.

Equipped with a color display, flashlight, and FM radio, this device offers enhanced versatility for field operations. A keyboard lock is also included to prevent accidental input.

Programming the radio can be accomplished through the keypad or via a computer, ensuring fast and user-friendly functionality.

The integrated VOX mode supports voice-activated transmission, eliminating the need to press the PTT button and greatly improving convenience for hands-free use.

CTCSS and DCS tones function in both normal and invert modes. These features filter out unwanted signals, permitting only transmissions with the designated tone or code to be received, which maintains a clear communication channel and minimizes interference. Operators can also switch transmission power between Low and High as needed.
