Archaic-Futuristic. That's what I see when I look at the scales of this knife. It's as if an ancient civilization engraved the handles with a laser. A plus is also the clip that resembles a micro-skull of a slender, monotone-colored penguin. The knife is great. I recommend it.
Bestech Knives Mothus Folding Knife by Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski - Hand-rubbed Satin Blade/Purple Titanium
or sign up for availability notification
Folding multipurpose knife featuring a Drop-Point blade profile. The Mothus model is the work of acclaimed Polish knife designer Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski.
Crafted from premium powdered M390 stainless steel, the blade stands out for its exceptional toughness, outstanding wear resistance, and high corrosion resistance. It is heat-treated to a hardness of 59-61 HRC and features a flat-ground edge. The blade boasts a hand-satin finish, delivering a refined semi-matte appearance.
Deployment is facilitated by a thumb disc, while the blade is secured by a robust sliding Crossbar Lock mechanism. Ball bearings on the pivot enhance and speed up the blade-opening action.
The ergonomically contoured handle scales are made of 6AL4V titanium. The grip is textured with polymer ornaments to provide anti-slip properties and ensure a firm hold. A resilient titanium pocket clip is positioned tip-up, with the ability to relocate it to the opposite side for carry preference.
