BREAK POINT marks the instant you commit to letting nothing stand in the way of your objective. It’s the point when you leave your comfort zone and push yourself onward.
Special forces operators aren’t superhuman. They don’t hit every target. Bullets aren’t harmless to them. Their doubts and weaknesses are no different than anyone else's. Yet when pressure is at its peak and situations are toughest, ordinary people can still achieve the extraordinary.
Ollie Ollerton’s life was marked by extremes and a relentless refusal to take the easy path. Having served as a Special Forces operator, he joined the Royal Marine Commandos at just 18. He carried out operations in Northern Ireland and Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. Following an intense 6-month SAS selection process, Ollie became a member of the Special Boat Service (SBS), where he spent 6 years. His journey stands as evidence that amazing feats are possible for anyone—only when you reach your break point in a moment of crisis do you truly discover your real strength.
Where is your own BREAK POINT?
What circumstances must you face to rise from your lowest moment?
Keep in mind that a second only lasts as long as it feels to the person living it.
Matthew "Ollie" Ollerton served as a Special Forces operator. At 18, he enlisted with the Royal Marine Commandos. He completed missions in Northern Ireland and participated in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. He passed the grueling 6-month SAS selection and joined the SBS for 6 years. His operations spanned counter-narcotics, anti-terror efforts, internal security, and humanitarian missions.
After leaving the Special Forces, Ollie spent time in Iraq as a private security contractor, and later traveled to Southeast Asia, where he used his military background to aid the less fortunate, working for a charity that fought child trafficking. He later co-presented the TV series SAS: Who Dares Wins, putting contestants through physical and mental trials inspired by Special Forces selection.
