I have been using it recently for nubuck shoes and I am satisfied. Muddy shoes just need to be wiped with a cloth and the dirt disappears without a trace. They prevent dirt from coming into direct contact with the leather, thus extending their lifespan. I cannot comment on moisture protection, as my shoes have a membrane and do not get wet even without impregnation. Best regards!
