Packed in cardboard and foil, well preserved. It took a moment to unpack it, but that's a good thing. Sharp, impressive. For now, I've only been practicing delivering cuts with it, without targets, so I can't say much more.
Cold Steel Polish Sabre Hussar Sabre
Single-edged, razor-sharp sabre modeled after Polish noble arms from the 17th century. Merges the strengths of both Eastern and Western European blades, providing excellent hand protection, impressive cutting dynamics, maneuverability, and outstanding thrusting and cutting performance. The Polish sabre stands as a symbol closely associated with the military victories of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, highlighted by the Relief of Vienna (1683). While favored by cavalry, it also performs effectively in infantry combat and duels. Its construction is designed to support efficient training in cutting techniques.
Sharp, curved 1055 carbon steel blade
Featuring a sharp, curved blade measuring 812 mm in length and 6.4 mm in thickness, crafted from rugged 1055 carbon steel renowned for exceptional impact resistance and durability. Running along three-quarters of the blade, two slim fullers and a reinforced back provide structural integrity. The cross-section showcases a "grooved with two channels" profile. Due to the pronounced curvature of the blade and the compact pommel, the point of balance is set closer to the tip, maximizing cutting force and depth. A polished finish enhances the appearance of the blade. A sharpened tip is designed to permit thrust training.
Handle and cross guard
Grip encased in red leather and wrapped with braided wire for enhanced durability. Along the grip’s spine runs a braid (steel fitting) that extends into a compact pommel to balance the blade. A cross guard with a semi-open, arched knuckle guard shields the user’s hand. A thumb ring near the guard allows for superior control. The cross guard and knuckle guard are complemented by whiskers that blend with the grip material. Steel components on the handle are finished with a brass plate for added style.
Scabbard
Equipped with a wooden scabbard wrapped in red leather. Steel, openwork hardware includes two rings designed for securing straps (rapti) to the carrying belt, enabling adjustments to both height and angle of carry. The notched upper fitting adapted to whiskers acts as a safeguard against accidental blade slippage.

Very impressive and solidly made. Well balanced, fits perfectly in the hand, and makes a huge impression as a historical replica. High quality, definitely worth its price.

I finally decided to buy this beautiful sabre and I do not regret it. Aside from its extraordinary beauty, what stands out is the excellent workmanship and attention to detail. I did not notice any flaws in the craftsmanship; everything looks and works great. Special thanks to Mr. Arek from Tamka, whose kindness and empathy made it possible for me to purchase the sabre despite some difficulties. The only concern that comes to mind is some minor inconsistencies with the historical design, but it does not affect my assessment, as I knew exactly what I was buying, and besides, the price is also very favorable compared to replicas based on specific models of hussar sabres. I was also considering buying the Polish-Hungarian sabre, which is even closer to my expectations, but what helped me make the final decision was the absence of fullers in the latter, which in my opinion slightly detracts from its beauty. Maybe it will be my second sabre. In conclusion – I recommend it to every beginner enthusiast of this kind of melee weapon – I am convinced that no one will be disappointed.

Great quality workmanship, perfect balance, excellent design, ideal as a gift or collection decoration, very good price. My wife received a wz23 sabre replica when she left the service—there is no comparison to this sabre.

A brilliant option when it comes to a saber for cutting. It works well for reenactment because it really looks impressive, is excellently finished, and looks great. I recommend it.
-
Brilliant saber, perfect for cut training on bottles, fruits, and vegetables, like pumpkins or watermelons. Arrives sharpened, and, on top of that, it looks stunning.

I'm incredibly happy with the saber, which is fantastic. The attached photo shows what it looks like after cut training. Highly recommend it to any fan of military items and sturdy swords made for heavy combat.

Beautifully made replica of a legendary saber. Bought as a gift—it was a hit, the recipient was delighted. High quality of craftsmanship and solid materials. Fast shipping, recommended.

Great equipment. Every Pole should have one at home to remember the times when we defended the borders of Europe and the rest of Europe thanked us. Sobieski’s essential tool at Vienna in a fancy, cool version. Looks great, cuts well—overall a 5, if you know how to get it moving, it’s unstoppable.
-
Fairly heavy saber but a lot of fun. Personally, I think it should be lighter, but for cut training, fun, or as a decoration, it’s perfect. It comes factory-sharp and doesn’t dull quickly.
-
Great equipment worth the price. The saber is very sharp, ideal for training. It quickly ended up in my collection. It’s worth having such a saber in your collection. I can wholeheartedly recommend this to any white arms enthusiast.

Great little saber for cut training on soft targets. It’s part of Polish heritage, I recommend every compatriot buy one and use it—it’s really excellent equipment.

I bought it today at Militaria.pl in Gdynia... very, very nice, really well made, and very sharp... It will definitely hang on my wall... I really recommend it.
-
Nice little saber for cutting training on straw mats, fruits, or vegetables. I highly recommend it to everyone; it's definitely worth buying.

It’s a wonderful feeling to feel this saber in your hand. Slash left, slash right, cut the air. In my opinion, primarily a functional product—that doesn't mean it shouldn’t hang above the fireplace, as long as it's always within reach in case you need to cut. I recommend it.
