A chunk of iron. The throwing knife is huge. It's not a toy by any means. I didn't need it because I have a shared, roll-up case for throwing knives - but information for someone considering buying - the sheath is optional.

Cold Steel Sure Balance Thrower 1055 Knife
Featuring a straightforward design, the knife evokes the timeless style of classic throwing knives from the mid-20th century. Offering an impressive size and substantial weight, the knife maintains excellent balance. Manufactured from 1055 tool steel.
1055 tool steel
Forged from 1055 tool steel, the blade offers an excellent balance between hardness and ease of sharpening. High levels of hardness and abrasion resistance guarantee enduring sharpness, attributable to a substantial carbon concentration and minor additions of manganese and silicon.
Delivering notable elasticity and impact resistance, this steel is especially well-suited for demanding applications such as fieldwork or survival scenarios, where reliable knife performance is crucial.
balanced design, black anti-corrosion coating
Featuring an overall length of 334 mm and a blade thickness of 5 mm, the throwing knife is equipped with a black anti-corrosion coating to suppress glare. Engineered for sport throwing, it caters to both novice and experienced users. With an optimal weight of 520 g, the knife offers excellent balance and a stable flight trajectory.
ergonomically shaped handle
The handle’s design is shaped to fit throwing techniques ergonomically, providing a secure grip and optimal control upon release. A hole at the base allows a cord to be threaded through, preventing the knife from being lost.

A heavy knife and throwing it is a challenge, but it sticks well. I still haven't mastered the no-spin technique, but it's probably just a so-called 'skill issue'. The tips were not damaged by wood, but by ricocheting off a stone and hitting a nail in a board. I recommend getting a strong target, because my quickly made few planks nailed together split apart in just a few sessions.

One of probably just two ColdSteel throwing knives currently offered available with a sheath – it's a bit of a shame it's sold separately, but it's still worth getting. Very heavy, at least one of the heaviest (not counting the Torpedo 1"). Flies quite well, but I would recommend it rather to experienced throwers. Only for strong throws, preferably no spin. The target should be quite soft, as ricochets can be dangerous. I recommend it.

Very solid throwing knife, heavy but well balanced. You need to practice a bit to get the feel. Worth recommending.

At first I had a problem with this knife, but after changing my grip, it started to fly. It won't be my favorite knife, but I don't rule out buying a second one next time.

Very good quality. Accurate. Heavy. Sticks well. I recommend it.

Perfect knife for throwing, I recommend it.

Good throwing knife, fun to play with.

Very good knife. Heavy and well balanced. Throws very well. After buying and testing my first piece, I already bought a second one of the same kind. I recommend it.

This is not exactly the same product I bought; mine had KL in the name, but it's no longer available in the store, so I'm reviewing this one. This is my first throwing knife and I am very happy with it. Heavy, well-balanced, made of good quality steel – it took me some time before I started hitting the target. I hit a stone a few times, which bent and then broke the knife tip. After sharpening, everything was fine again and I could enjoy the fun all over again. I definitely recommend it.
