I bought this knife in an online store and I am satisfied with the purchase. The blade is very sharp, fits well in the hand, and the workmanship quality is high. It works well both in the workshop and for outdoor tasks. The price matches the quality, I recommend it! Bought as a gift, my husband is very happy.
The M16-14D Big Dog (Wielki Pies) stands out as a robust tactical knife featuring a tanto blade, part of the CRKT For Those Who Serve series dedicated to uniformed professionals. Developed by US ARMY Sergeant Kit Carson, this model fulfills the demands of both field operatives and military enthusiasts.
Built on a framework of 420J2 stainless steel, the knife incorporates aircraft-grade aluminum handle scales, complemented by a steel plate that acts as both a locking mechanism and reinforcement for the blade pivot. The ergonomic handle is engineered for durability and comfort, while the ribbed, semi-open structure ensures easy maintenance of the knife’s mechanical components. With the textured spine of the blade recessed into the handle, users benefit from a secure and comfortable thumb rest for enhanced control.
The partially serrated tanto-style blade is crafted from Aus8A stainless steel and coated with a titanium-infused Desert Tan finish. A hollow grind ensures an effective cutting edge. The blade features an ambidextrous thumb stud for easy opening with either hand, while a flipper mechanism enables rapid blade deployment with an index finger and a flick of the wrist. Once opened, the flipper doubles as a protective finger guard.
A reliable liner lock secures the blade in the open position, further enhanced by the AutoLAWKS system for added safety. The locking lever is conveniently positioned on the front right side of the handle.
Day-to-day carry is simplified by a spring clip integrated into the handle, allowing secure attachment to a belt or pocket edge. Multiple mounting positions—up to four—let users choose their preferred carry orientation for optimal accessibility.
Ideal for uniformed professionals and those in need of a high-strength folding knife, this model performs admirably as both a reliable daily implement and a formidable defensive tool.

Great knife from CRKT. Interesting color and good factory sharpness. Besides the blade, there’s also a useful saw. Visually beautiful, made of good materials and well fitted.
-
The product is well made, solid, and the steel holds its sharpness for a very long time. I use it for practically everything; from opening beer to cutting branches. The opening mechanism works flawlessly even after the knife gets sandy. In general, the method and speed at which you can unfold the blade is impressive. The shorter cutting part can be used to pry objects, generating greater force over a smaller length.

Very good knife, I’ve had it for a while now and despite fairly frequent use in various situations, it still looks almost like new. The only thing is that sometimes it seems to lose sharpness a bit too quickly, but maybe that’s due to the sharpening method. Overall, a great knife!

A brilliant idea for a gift. My friend was moved to tears when he saw it. The appearance and workmanship are of a high standard.

I’ve already had many folding knives and this one definitely belongs among my favorites. Solidly made, does not get dull quickly, and the flipper opens like a spring-assisted knife. And it looks f***ing awesome. I really recommend it.
-
F***ing comfortable and super sharp, cut through tire wires in a test without any problems, sharpening is also easy. Highly recommend.
-
The best large folder I've bought so far. Suitable for both carrying and outdoor work. I recommend it because the price is not high considering what we get.
-
Great, I’m happy, it’s my first tanto!
-
Good and comfortable blade, it has wide applications, a different tactical vibe than the well-known classics.
-
Good company, great appearance.
-
Solid workmanship, even with extreme use, the blade and the housing are still in good condition.

I definitely recommend it! High quality workmanship.

Great knife, holds sharpness for a long time. If it gets dull, it's easy to sharpen.

The serrated blade also works well—very sharp—cuts concentric and three-core cables in a second. The clip fastens the knife well to a belt or pocket. The shape and thickness of the knife command respect and make it useful for all kinds of work in the field, although it reduces its usefulness in the kitchen. But it wasn't made for that. Definitely worth its price. Recommended for people who don't want to worry whether the tool will withstand hard work.
