There's not much to say, this is my next knife from CRKT but my first neck knife. And definitely not the last. I have quite a large hand and the handle fits very securely and comfortably in four fingers.
Compact neck knife featuring a full-tang design. Created by acclaimed American knifemaker Alan Folts. The CRKT Minimalist series stands out for its stripped-down, straightforward build, while prioritizing maximum functionality.
Equipped with a Trailing Point blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel—a material prized for easy sharpening and exceptional corrosion resistance. The blade’s sandblasted (bead blast) matte finish reduces glare and reflections.
Jimping along the spine provides a stable resting point for the thumb, ensuring secure and comfortable control during use.
Deeply contoured, ergonomic handle scales are constructed from rugged green Micarta. The rough texture of this material delivers excellent grip, even with wet or dirty hands. A braided paracord at the handle’s end aids in quickly drawing the knife from its sheath or pocket.
Supplied with a thermoplastic sheath with a clip that allows for versatile attachment options on a belt or around the neck.

Probably the best model in the whole series. It's a bit of a shame that the tip is so thick, just to save the construction from breaking. I'm waiting for a version in a different color and maybe different steel.

I was impressed by Alan Folts, the knifemaker's, design, and the blade shape was the final touch, plus it's from CRKT. There was only one decision and it had to be immediate – I'm buying it! I wasn't wrong – the weight and handle are minimalist, but the blade is something else, excellent workmanship that works great and does its job.;)

A great knife to have as an extra during trips. You can do much heavier tasks with it than with any folding knife. The handle is comfortable, even for a large hand, as long as the work doesn't last too long. After a few minutes messing with sticks, though, you'll want to switch to something with a normal handle. But for quick carving and whittling, it's very good. Because of the blade shape, it's not suited to precise woodcraft, but it does surprisingly well in the kitchen. I don't recommend it for EDC, because the blade is too long. A clip point, bowie or wharncliffe would work better.

Another Minimalist for the collection. CRKT really doesn't need any praise, they're in a league of their own. Collecting cool little knives is almost an addiction that only bankruptcy can cure.......

Great sharp neck knife, the handle isn't too small. I was really positively surprised at how well it fits in the hand, great grip, it's really comfortable to use. I really recommend it, great blade, this little guy is capable of a lot.

The knife is excellent. It's my first neck knife, but I'm delighted. Right out of the box it's razor sharp, literally! The Micarta handle has a good grip, it's not too short and feels secure in the hand. I recommend it.
