Constructed entirely from metal, the robust Swiss Arms 1911 replica-shooter fires BBB type (4.5 mm) steel pellets. The power source is a 12-gram CO2 cartridge located inside a magazine with a capacity of 18 rounds. Functionality mirrors the original firearm, utilizing the Single Action (SA) mechanism. The side of the pistol displays the authentic Swiss Arms insignia, representing the renowned Swiss firearms manufacturer.
The trigger system incorporates a secure winged trigger lock as found in the original design, which can only be disengaged by compressing the grip safety—an action achievable when the pistol is held correctly. In line with post-M1911A1 standards, the grip safety features an extended spur to shield the top of the hand from impact with the breech during recoil.
A blast back system breech recoil (Blow back) mechanism cycles the slide to cock the hammer, and as the breech returns forward, it chambers a pellet for firing at 95 m/s upon trigger pull. When the magazine is empty, the slide locks back automatically, and releasing it requires operating the slide release lever.

A specialized anti-skid texture covers the grip at key contact areas to prevent slippage and enhance weapon control. The base of the grip includes a lanyard hole for attaching a tactical cord, offering extra security against losing the pistol.
