Food thermos with a capacity of 750 ml, designed for carrying food. Made of high-quality BPA-free stainless steel. The offered model features excellent thermal insulation (for both hot and cold substances) and high resistance to mechanical damage. The matte anti-slip coating provides a secure grip even in thick gloves.

The wide opening makes filling and cleaning the vessel much easier.

To make the most of the properties offered by your food thermos, Esbit recommends "formatting" the thermos before use. If you plan to carry hot items, before placing them in the thermos, fill it with hot water for about 4 minutes, then pour out the water and place the food inside. The same should be done for cold items (fill the thermos with very cold water). This helps maintain the desired temperature for longer.

A noteworthy solution is the use of a safety valve button in the cap design - pressing it before unscrewing the cap releases excess pressure (often created while storing a hot meal/liquid), practically eliminating the risk of the cap or hot steam "shooting out," sometimes accompanied by hot contents splashing to the sides.

The product underwent a performance test in which the thermos content was water at 98ºC. The test was conducted at a temperature of 20ºC (+/- 2ºC). Based on the tests carried out, the water temperature was after:
- 6 hours - 70ºC,
- 12 hours - 60ºC,
- 24 hours - 40ºC.

Esbit

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Esbit.

Esbit is a German brand with more than 75 years of tradition, whose beginnings date back to Erich Schumm's invention of solid fuel in 1936. Thanks to lightweight, folding stoves and efficient fuel tablets, the company quickly gained popularity among mountaineers and soldiers, including during World War II. Today, it expands its range with modern thermoses, mugs, and bottles using vacuum insulation technology and highly resistant stainless steel. Solutions such as Vacuum thermoses and Food Jug food containers make it possible to effectively maintain the temperature of meals and drinks for many hours. All products are BPA-free, easy to clean, and adapted for intensive use. The brand was one of the first to create a miniature cooking set that fits in a pocket, designed for solo trips.

In terms of craftsmanship, Esbit presents a high level. The thermos feels very sturdy. The biggest advantage is retaining food temperature for many hours. The wide opening makes it easier to put in food, clean it, and eat directly from the thermos. The cap can be used as a bowl or a cup. I recommend it.

A useful gadget for home use, a well-made lunch thermos. Tested during the holiday season as a container for transporting food. Quality 5*, the standard price is not low, but there are discounts on militaria.pl. A product worth recommending.

Solid steel thermos. It keeps the heat for a long time; your meal stays warm almost all day. The capacity is just right for lunch for one person. Tested, it works, I can recommend it.

Tested outdoors, despite the cold autumn weather and many hours of walking, it held the temperature inside very well, and the food was completely warm. The safety valve is a very useful feature, it helps avoid accidental burns. I recommend it!

I'm a bit disappointed. Before loading, I pour boiling water to heat it up, put in hot food, and after 4 hours it's already cold. In the future, I’ll take the 0.5 one because this one is a bit too tall. The lid and bottom bend at the edges. So a model with a more rounded shape would be just right.
