Fjord Nansen Lima II 2-Person Tent

Lightweight tent for two people, great for hiking, cycling, and water tourism. The flysheet is made from polyester material with 3000 mm H2O/m2 waterproofing. By placing the pole sleeves outside the flysheet, the tent can be safely pitched in the rain by first unfolding the flysheet, which will protect the sleeping area from getting wet. The igloo-type construction ensures proper stability, and the functional vestibule allows convenient storage of luggage, shoes, or wet gear outside the sleeping area.

The flysheet is made from damage-resistant polyester coated with a polyurethane (PU) layer, providing waterproofing at a level of 3000 mm water column. This effectively protects users from rain and moisture in changing weather conditions. All seams of the flysheet are additionally laminated, which enhances the structure's tightness and reduces the risk of leaking during heavy rains. The floor is made from durable polyethylene with a waterproof parameter of 3000 mm/m2, effectively protecting users from ground moisture. The inner sleeping area is crafted from breathable polyester, aiding air circulation and thermal comfort during overnight stays.

The pole sleeves are placed outside the flysheet, allowing the tent to be set up even during rain without the risk of wetting the sleeping area. The user can first unfold the flysheet and then attach the sleeping area. The construction also allows for using just the flysheet as a lightweight shelter during short stops or emergency overnight stays.

Double-wall construction of the tent improves moisture insulation and reduces the phenomenon of water vapor condensation. The flysheet features two ventilation windows supporting constant airflow. Additionally, the upper part of the entrance to the sleeping area is equipped with a mesh panel serving as a mosquito net. This solution effectively protects against insects while ensuring proper ventilation during warm nights. Bright guy lines improve the visibility of the tent after dusk, enhancing safety when moving around the campsite.

The stability of the structure is ensured by a fibreglass frame with a diameter of 8.5 mm. The use of lightweight yet durable material allows for maintaining a low total weight of the tent. The construction is designed with hiking, cycling, and water tourism in mind, where both weather resistance and ease of transport are important. When packed, the tent takes up little space, making it easy to carry in a backpack, bicycle panniers, or kayak luggage.
