An essential element for the Wisport backpack. The edges had to be slightly sanded so they wouldn’t damage the fabric. Unfortunately, it is not included in the set when purchasing the Sparrow.

The fiberglass strip fulfills its function and stiffens the backpack well. Unfortunately, its ends are unevenly made, which can rub against the material and over time affect the durability of the backpack.
-
Product purchased additionally for the Wisport Sparrow II 30l backpack, fits without any additional modifications. Comfort of use after installing the frame is a plus.
-
For some time I used the Sparrow II backpack without the frame, but after buying it I found that the backpack significantly increases its functionality and comfort—rigid back, easier to keep the backpack upright. A great solution.
-
I bought this frame after reading the opinions of those who already used it and it really does improve the stiffness of the backpack and the comfort of carrying it. The load is more distributed on the lower back and doesn't pull the shoulders as much.
-
It's worth buying it right away. I don't know why the manufacturer doesn't include it in the set. It's worth stiffening a backpack of this capacity, maybe it's about the declared weight. Probably not about the costs at this price of backpacks.
-
It's just a regular strip so no need to go on about it, but it does its job. In my opinion, it's a "must-have" for the Sparrow backpack. Too bad it's not included from the start.
-
If you bought a Sparrow, don't even think twice, just get it—the difference is huge. I'm surprised it's not included with the backpack, but oh well—it doesn't cost a fortune. I use it in my BOB and can't imagine carrying so much gear without back support. Must-have.
-
A great thing for those who own a Wisport backpack, it stiffens the back which helps when carrying and setting the backpack down, and it doesn’t deform the back panel when the backpack is loaded.
-
It reliably fulfills its purpose. Even in a heavily stuffed backpack, the back panel doesn't bulge, which increases carrying comfort. The frame is very light and well-fitted. It should be included with the backpack from the start. I recommend it.
-
A practical and necessary stiffener element for the backpack. Light and cheap. Significantly improves comfort when carrying heavy loads. Makes it more comfortable to carry the backpack. Its installation can take a while because the pocket is very stiff and tight, but that's how it's supposed to be and it works well. Of course, it’s not something you take in and out all the time—one application lasts a long time. It should be standard in every backpack.
-
For me, it's great. I read that it is often unpolished, but I think they've taken it to heart because mine was smooth and fit into the pocket without a problem. The size is fine, as it’s not visible after closing the pocket.
-
The frame for the Wisport Sparrow II 30 l backpack does its job for something simpler than a pitchfork. I used it on a day-long hike with a full backpack and it significantly increased carrying comfort. The only downside is you need to spend a moment to adjust its length, because although it's dedicated for the Sparrow II 30 l it's about 15 mm too long. I also recommend rounding all the edges with a file.
-
Useful when the backpack is fully loaded and with something heavy. You can do without it. Such a strip should be included in the price of the backpack and honestly, it is poorly finished. Quite sharp and does not fit easily into the prepared pocket, but if you tap it with a hammer, it goes all the way in without trimming.
-
Not much to say. It's a frame like any other. It is well made and does its job. In my opinion, a must-buy when getting a backpack. It's also relatively light.
