The weave used in production Rip-Stop involves introducing a nylon thread at regular intervals strengthening the structure, so the fabric does not tear or fray even after local damage.
The cover is fastened using Velcro. Additionally, the top features velcro panels, enabling the user to attach patches or emblems.
