    I bought it as a bag for everything loose that used to slide around freely in the car. Since it happened to me several times that I was carrying loose items like jackets and fleeces from the car trunk to a guesthouse or hotel, and sometimes something fell onto the wet ground and got dirty. It helps not to lose loose things.
