This was the first and that's where it began. Laminated, then small and carbon. I don’t know what it is about these knives, but they’re addictive. There are still a few versions; if Militaria has them in their offer, my collection will surely grow. That they’re sharp as a razor has already been said, and the handmade aspect and their history just add to their charm.
A folding knife drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese blades of the late 19th century. The term Higonokami derives from "Higo no Kami," which translates to "lord of Higo"—an honorary designation once held by samurai in Japan's Higo region.
Featuring a blade crafted from laminated SK steel, known for its durability and exceptional resistance to cracking, chipping, and dulling, while still remaining straightforward to sharpen. As a friction folder, the knife forgoes a lock mechanism, instead relying on the user's grip to keep the blade open during intensive use.
A straightforward handle constructed from a single piece of steel securely encloses the blade, ensuring safe transport. The integrated hole in the handle makes it suitable for attaching a lanyard or keychain.

Nice little knife, with an interesting history behind it. I recommend it.
-
Simple and made from fantastic steel. Not to mention, it’s a piece of history itself.
-
A simply constructed knife, made of great steel. Sharp as a razor. After unpacking, it shaved hair off my arm. Easily suitable for most small tasks. I recommend it.
-
Simplicity is the beauty of this knife. I recommend it.

Simple, proven construction. For me, it's a bomb.
-
Aesthetically beautiful. Very classic and simple - that's a huge plus. The steel is hard, but I had trouble sharpening it so that there weren't subtle "teeth" at the end of the blade. Regardless of the sharpening angle and care, I couldn't get rid of them. My friend had a similar problem.

A completely different knife philosophy – simplicity and usability. Sharp as a razor. You just have to have one in your collection.
-
A very minimalist knife, that's why I like it.

I like the shape of this folding knife, similar to a razor and sharp as a razor. The advantage is the simplicity of the design – two pieces of steel joined with a rivet. The lack of a lock means you have to use it very carefully and with full concentration.
