History Knife & Tool Sleeve Dagger - Black
A knife belonging to the group of so-called sleeve daggers, also known as Bodkin or nail daggers. Inspired by models developed by William Ewart Fairbairn and Eric Anthony Sykes for the SAS, OSS and SOE. The one-piece design and low profile allowed them to be worn concealed and quickly removed when needed. The pattern was in service with the British Army from 1943.
Blade made of GCr15 steel finished by acidizing
The narrow blade was made from a single piece of GCr15 carbon steel. The raw material used is distinguished by its ease of sharpening and excellent cutting performance. The blade with a triangular ground edge was finished by acidizing. This technique produced a textured surface and a rustic, aged look to the blade.
Handle with non-slip texture
The steel handle with a non-slip texture provides a secure and safe grip. Its distinctive knobbly end allows you to tie a leather loop, which replaces the traditional bolster.
Leather sheath with belt included
The set includes a leather sheath with a belt, which allows the knife to be carried concealed on the forearm or leg.
