Lightweight trekking socks crafted from a blend of 78% cotton, 19% polyamide, and 3% Lycra. Featuring a three-layer anatomically contoured interior made of terry fabric, these socks effectively absorb impacts, offering protection for sensitive areas of the foot and ankle against abrasion and injury. Designed to match the anatomical shape of the left (L) and right (R) foot, they incorporate not only specifically profiled terry fabric, but also distinct knit patterns around the toes for each foot.
Lycra integrated throughout the sock provides an optimal fit to the foot. The extended non-compressive cuff features a unique design that allows it to be folded over the shoe. A midfoot elastic band secures the sock in place, effectively minimizing any slipping during movement. The anatomically designed Y-shaped knit in the heel area ensures a secure grip and enhances foot stabilization. Transverse ribbing supports the sock’s contour to the natural bend of the leg. The area above the foot, not subjected to pressure, is crafted with a thinner fabric, complemented by ventilation channels running along the sock for improved moisture management. Overall comfort is enhanced by a soft, flat Rosso seam above the toes and an additional vent beneath the toe region.
Antibacterial protection is provided by permanently integrating a specialized antibacterial and antifungal treatment into the sock fibers, licensed by the Swiss company Sanitized (license no. 1138.08). Only manufacturers who uphold the highest standards of technological processes are granted such a license. The awarded Swiss Sanitized Certificate further attests to the high quality of the product.
