I bought this knife on sale some time ago. At first glance, the knife seemed solid. After using it, I noticed that the handle is exceptionally poorly made. The guard started to move, so I took a closer look. The protective resin on the handle was applied carelessly and does not cover the entire part. As for the blade, on the surface I don't have any problems, but maybe there will be flaws here too. Anyway, militaria.pl hasn't lost my trust because my previous purchase, the "bow," is very solid.

Classic Ka-Bar 1217 USMC knife developed for the U.S. Army during World War II. To this day, in a version that has changed very little, it performs exceptionally well in both civilian and military applications. Bowie-profile blade, Cro-Van 1095 steel
The knife is made from a single piece of high-quality 1095 Cro-Van steel and has been hardened to a hardness of 56–58 HRC. The smooth blade, featuring the distinctive Bowie shape with a shallow fuller and the embossed letters “USMC,” is coated with a black, non-reflective epoxy-based finish.
Handle made of compressed buffalo leather
The handle is made of pieces of buffalo leather pressed together under pressure. A steel cross guard on both sides prevents the hand from sliding down onto the blade.
