Definitely worth its price, looks much better in person. The size and balance are also good, at least for my hand. I recommend it.
Kershaw Camp 10 Tan Machete
Machete featuring Full Tang construction, with the tang extending throughout the entire handle. The recurved blade is crafted from wear-resistant 65Mn spring steel and finished with a black powder coating. An ergonomic handle made of plastic ensures a reliable and comfortable grip. Perfect for campsite tasks, forest expeditions, or use on private land, its compact form factor enables easy storage in most backpacks.
65Mn Spring Steel
Forged from tool-grade 65Mn spring steel, the machete blade offers exceptional resistance to warping and chipping—crucial for tackling thick brush. Enhanced by a high carbon content, the blade maintains outstanding edge retention and wear resistance for prolonged sharpness. A layer of black powder coating shields the steel from rust and prevents unwanted glare.
Ergonomic handle
The handle is constructed from plastic with a rubber coating in a Tan shade. Its ergonomic design and contoured, double-sided cross guard effectively prevent the hand from sliding onto the blade during operation. A hole is located at the end of the handle for securing a cord. The handle's textured surface delivers a reliable grip even when your hands are wet.
Nylon sheath
Supplied with a sturdy sheath constructed from glass-reinforced nylon, the machete offers versatile carry options. Multiple mounting points on the sheath enable secure attachment to a belt, backpack, vest, or additional equipment.

5mm of steel with a full tang. This machete replaced my hatchet. As long as you're building a camp in the woods and not building a palisade, you don't need anything more. It handled a 15 cm diameter dried pine split crosswise. It doesn't have a beveled spine, so it's suitable for batoning. And since it's a machete, you can also whittle with it, cut a roll, and spread pate. The steel is hard, carbon, so it rusts quite easily, so pay attention not to leave it in the grass overnight. Especially as the anti-corrosion coating comes off easily. The sheath has many mounting options, but it's plastic, quite clunky, and the machete has about 2 millimeters of play inside. Locking the machete in it is solid, but also quite peculiar. The handle is actually rough, so it’s easy to grip. In conclusion: I recommend it. In Polish forests, this machete makes sense, and I haven't found a cheaper machete thicker than 3.5 mm.

For me, the Kershaw Camp 10 Tan machete is perfect—I use it every day for garden work and it performs very well. Strong, solid, and easy to sharpen. I recommend it.
-
Wonderful machete, it cuts even thicker branches almost effortlessly, sharpens stakes like a sharpener. Perfect for tougher camp work. Completely replaces a small axe.
-
I really like it and I am satisfied with this excellent quality machete. Everything matches the description. The weight distribution is great. The handle material is well made. Excellent value for money. With a great sheath, it’s really worth it. Not a shoddy blade, the design and thickness are also good. All in all, it's worth buying and recommending.
-
Quality of workmanship and ergonomics are at a high level. Definitely better than Cold Steel machetes. It's a pity the sheath doesn't have a lock when inserted and you have to fasten the strap. Highly recommend!

I see these 18 reviews and think I have to tell the truth (I don't doubt what others say here, but heh, I'll just say it as it is). The machete feels good, is sharp, looks nice, and I liked it in every aspect, so I bought it right away. I went home and used it to cut a lemon, several lemons in fact. Of course, I wiped it off and put it back in the sheath. After 2 days I used it again, I don't even remember for what, but it was minimal use. I always wiped it, but when I took it out about 4 days after purchase, after only 2 uses, I can't understand how a several hundred zloty machete can rust to such a degree. The entire blade is rusted, to the point where a cheap banana brand I have had for years has endured a lot, heavy use, and even been loaned out, but I've never seen this. That one doesn’t even have paint so it should rust more easily. Okay, I bought a rust remover and it cleaned maybe 60%—no more possibility. I'm confused, because that's definitely not normal. The machete seems good, but where does this rust come from, especially after only cutting lemons? Sorry, but I can't in good conscience give even 3 stars for this. I bet many users have the same problem, so I share the pain. The machete is sharp and fits well, but seriously, I have never seen steel rust so badly, even after wiping after each use and after only 2 uses. This is just absurd and shouldn't happen; 2 uses, slicing lemons, and this happens? Brand new, sharp as a razor, but rusty and ugly. Why does rust appear even after wiping? It cannot be removed 100%.
-
Solid and handy machete. Good ergonomics.
-
Great machete, sharp as a razor, splits wood well and keeps its sharpness. Fits nicely in my hand, it’s quite sturdy. In my opinion, solid gear and also a stylish, rigid sheath.
-
Cuts like a good sword and works well in the forest, so it's okay.
-
Comfortable handle, durable blade, although the lacquer on the bulge has already worn off a bit. But after all, it’s a machete, not some ornament that sits on a shelf and looks nice. The sheath is hard, quick to attach to a belt or backpack, but the machete does wobble a bit. But I can recommend it.
-
Great knife, though a bit small for a machete. As soon as I unpacked it, I went to test it. Really good.
-
A pretty decent small machete, especially for the price. It rattles in the sheath, but you can get used to it. The inscription 'CHINA' on the handle somewhat undermines the sense of solidity.
-
Perfectly balanced, great both for chopping and for more precise work. The steel is spring steel, just as tools of this type require.
-
Solid gear. The handle is much better after being wrapped in tennis tape.
