MultiCam Camouflage

MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US-based company, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), within the framework of the Objective Force Warrior program. Designed to deliver exceptional versatility, the pattern performs effectively across diverse terrains and fluctuating environments. The MultiCam camouflage utilizes a palette of seven colors, seamlessly blending gradients of green, brown, and beige hues. This allows it to adapt fluidly to its surroundings—manifesting dominant green tones in woodland settings or shifting to browns and beiges in arid or desert landscapes. Especially in Central and Eastern Europe, MultiCam excels during the autumn season and among dried vegetation. Widely recognized across the globe, MultiCam is adopted by various military forces and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army formally selected this pattern for troops deployed in Afghanistan, supplanting the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilians, making MultiCam a popular option among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
