Insignia designed for the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representing the rank of Senior Warrant Officer. Outfitted with durable Velcro to ensure secure and efficient attachment to uniforms.
The designation MM-14 derives from the Ukrainian phrase маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when this camouflage was formally adopted. The pattern bears similarities to the American UCP camouflage, although the specific shades were selected to correspond with the natural colors found within Ukraine. The adoption of the MM-14 camouflage was a significant step in Ukrainian military reform, aimed at moving away from post-Soviet visual identity. Informally, MM14 camouflage is also referred to as Ukrainian Pixel Camo or Ukrainian Digital Camo.
