Size 146-152 should have a waist of 27", it has 24". In this range, 7.5 cm is a huge difference. The product is going back to the store, be careful, especially before the holidays. Sizes run small, I do not recommend.

Reliable military cargo pants, I recommend them!

Decent pants for a scout or a young hiking enthusiast. A lot of width adjustment in the waist and legs. The size is rather large, the length is fine but the waist is quite wide. Buttons are hard to use for a younger child, a zipper would be better.
