Warm tactical gloves with Thinsulate and Hipora, they provide good protection against cold and moisture. Secure grip thanks to the Padlock coating. Solid workmanship, I recommend them.

Synthetic leather with Padlock coating
The palm area is constructed from synthetic leather and features a silicone, anti-slip Padlock coating for enhanced grip reliability. The trigger finger is embossed and further strengthened, ensuring precise weapon control.
3M Thinsulate insulation and Hipora membrane
Thickened 3M Thinsulate 100 g insulation lines the interior, delivering excellent warmth and superior thermal comfort. Outfitted with a waterproof Hipora membrane, the gloves promote breathability and minimize unwanted perspiration. Enhanced heat retention is achieved with an internal HotHands thermal pocket.

Touchscreen compatibility
Operate your mobile devices seamlessly thanks to the touchscreen-compatible feature, eliminating the need to take off your gloves.
EN388-3122XX and EN511 120 Standards
Gloves are compliant with the EN388 standard for mechanical hazard protection at level 3122XX, meaning:
- 3: abrasion resistance (scale from 0 to 4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale from 0 to 5)
- 2: tear resistance (scale from 0 to 4)
- 2: puncture resistance (scale from 0 to 4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM (ISO 13997) test (scale from A to F)
- X: impact protection (test completed)
Cold resistance adheres to the EN511 standard at level 120, which means:
- 1: resistance to convective cold (scale from 0 to 4)
- 2: resistance to contact cold (scale from 0 to 4)
- 0: water penetration resistance (0 or 1)
Assessment scales according to EN388 and EN511 define glove protection levels: 0 represents no protection, while the highest values (4 or 5) correspond to the greatest degree of resistance. For water penetration resistance, 0 signifies penetration and 1 signifies no penetration.
The TDM (ISO 13997) test uses letters, with A denoting the lowest protection and F the highest protection level.
X indicates a parameter was not tested or is not relevant. P designates that the glove fulfills impact protection standards.

Thinsulate is a high-tech insulating material from 3M with a special construction based on synthetic microfibers that provide high thermal insulation at a low weight. Its lightweight, elasticity, and ability to retain heat even in humid conditions make it widely used in clothing and footwear. Thinsulate fibers are durable and abrasion-resistant, resulting in long-lasting durability.
Hipora is a high-quality, waterproof and breathable layer used in gloves, protective clothing and footwear. It is composed of a microporous structure that effectively blocks water penetration from the outside, while allowing moisture and perspiration to escape from the inside, keeping you comfortable and dry. Hipora® is often used in products designed for harsh weather conditions such as rain or snow, offering excellent moisture protection while maintaining the breathability of the material.
Padlock is a technology used in Mechanix gloves, based on hexagonal-shaped silicone elements with non-slip properties, designed to provide optimal grip. The silicone on the gripping side of the gloves improves control over the tools handled and objects carried, increasing user comfort and safety.

The Mechanix Wear Cold Weather SUB20 tactical gloves in Realtree Edge camouflage are a comfortable and functional model for colder, but not extreme, conditions. They provide good protection against cold and wind while maintaining proper finger dexterity. The materials are solid, and the workmanship is meticulous, which translates to durability. The gloves fit the hands well and provide a secure grip. The camouflage looks very good and works well in the field. This is a good choice for people looking for a compromise between warmth and comfort.

Great for heavier tasks - protective panels and reinforced palm ensure your hands are safe, and the dense materials do not restrict movement. I recommend them.
-
In colder weather, such as -15°C, they don't really do the job. The plastic part that's supposed to protect against damage becomes stiff, it's hard to grab anything, and your fingers, even with the gloves on, feel like you've put them into a cold iron tube. So they're not for cold weather, just a few degrees below zero.
-
The gloves are very well made in terms of stitching and materials. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend them for frosts below minus 5°C, and they are completely disqualified in double-digit frost. The reason is insufficient insulation at the fingertips – your fingers simply freeze in them. Even a short, 20-minute walk is too much.
-
I highly recommend these gloves for the winter season. They are warm, very comfortable, and non-slip. I bought this product for winter sports; I ride a bike in the winter. They are perfect for that, and the extended cuff does a great job. I recommend!!!!
-
I highly recommend the gloves, they are very warm, have a very pleasant filling, and the anti-slip structure on the glove works very well. They also look very good.
-
These are strictly winter gloves. There's quite a lot of insulation, so I suggest getting a larger size. My standard glove size is L, in this case I took XL and it fits. Tested at temperatures down to -5 degrees and they work fine. But due to the amount of filling, they greatly restrict hand and finger movement. They're not suitable for handling weapons, but for chopping or carrying things, they're just right.
-
I bought them for my husband as a gift. They had very good reviews, hence my decision. The gloves are quite stiff. I bought a size larger as you suggested, but they turned out to be too big. The gloves are very well made!!! But whether they are really resistant to frost, rather not.

Hello. Definitely warm, already tested in the frost while working in the orchard. Stiff at first, then they soften a bit, but the lining inside could be a bit better made. Hard to put on. Overall, I recommend them.
-
The inner lining, although pleasant to the touch, still doesn't fit well, which makes them hard to put on. The gloves are VERY stiff, but I hope that after some use they might soften a little, because it's difficult to drive in them. At -5 degrees, they're not spectacular, but they provide a good grip. They're not suitable for precise work, but they're well made. The long "cuff" is a very nice feature. The sizing runs small—if your measurements suggest a certain size, take a larger one. My L fits tightly—maybe they'll stretch...? For this price—they're manageable :)

The gloves are warm—I tested them at -5°C, good enough for physical work like carrying wood or chopping with an axe, etc. They are not made for precise work. As for size, M fits small hands snugly; if you have large hands, you will need a bigger size (the insulation takes up space).
-
Good warm gloves. This is already my next pair of Mechanix. The gloves are not outstanding, but they are simply good and worth their price. I also tested them while skiing and they did their job. I recommend them.
-
Typical quality for Mechanix products. The gloves are made with attention to detail and good materials. After choosing the right size, they provide a secure grip. 100 g of good quality insulation provides thermal comfort, and the outer material protects against moisture. Currently on a good promotion.

Very thick and warm gloves, you can put your whole hand in water and they still stay dry. Precise operations in these gloves are very difficult, but that's probably an obvious downside of such gloves.
