Tarnanzug 03 camouflage cap featuring a baseball cap style, crafted from a durable fabric blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The shaped visor delivers effective sun protection for the head during both athletic pursuits and daily wear. Panels and visor utilize a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, offering the ruggedness of synthetic fibers together with the breathability of natural materials. The presence of polyester ensures excellent abrasion resistance and helps maintain the cap’s shape, while cotton provides superior comfort and airflow. Reinforced with durable seams, the construction guarantees reliability, and the visor is strengthened by six rows of stitching to enhance rigidity.

A snapback strap is positioned at the rear of the cap, offering quick and easy adjustment for a precise fit around the head. Designed for optimal breathability, the cap is equipped with six embroidered ventilation eyelets to ensure effective airflow.

The Tarnanzug 03 camouflage pattern (frequently called Flecktarn 03) was adopted by the Austrian Armed Forces at the start of the 21st century. Designed as an updated version of the traditional German Flecktarn, it has been tailored to meet the specific terrain requirements of Central Europe. Distinguished by an arrangement of irregular spots in multiple hues of green, brown, and black, the pattern efficiently disrupts the human outline amid woodland and mixed terrain environments.
