Such a mini backpack is definitely useful when traveling or shopping. It's so small and light when packed that I practically carry it every day (I attach it to my bag with a carabiner) - I don't need extra bags. Once unfolded, it fits a lot of items inside (even A4 books) - tested, and it's comfortable to wear on your back - because it's a regular backpack. The flap closure with Velcro and fastening the straps secures the items carried inside. Folding it is also simple, after a bit of practice in various conditions. I bought it and I think it was worth it.

In my opinion, it's a great thing for shopping. I travel often, and instead of a large backpack, I take this little backpack to the store and don't have to buy a plastic shopping bag. The only downside is the lack of a zipper to close the backpack. But if it's not filled to the brim, the Velcro works fine.
