Replica of the American M1860 light cavalry saber. Weapons of this design were in service from the era of the Civil War and appeared in landmark engagements such as the renowned Battle of Gettysburg. The M1860 saber also frequently appeared as cavalry equipment in many classic western films.

The 89 cm blade is crafted from carbon steel. The guard is constructed from brass, with a wooden handle wrapped in synthetic, polyurethane-based leather.
The saber precisely replicates the look, size, and weight of the original, making it an outstanding piece for any collection.

A steel scabbard equipped with mounting fittings for the saber is included in the set.

Review for model:

The saber is well made. The downsides are that it doesn't come with the original box and is packed separately from the scabbard, which is rusty inside, but this doesn't interfere with inserting or removing the saber because everything fits well. Additionally, it is very well protected with oils (that's a plus). It's worth buying accessories for maintenance. Finally, the saber is not sharp, but if I were to recommend it to someone who wants to display it as a decoration, I would recommend it. For this price, you won't find a better one ;)
