Engineered for daily reliability, this compact EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight utilizes an advanced Cool White LED combined with TIR optics (lens/collimator), delivering a powerful 1000 lumens output with an effective beam distance of up to 85 m. Enhanced versatility is provided by an integrated UV light mode offering 580 mW of illumination.
Aluminum body, IPX7 waterproof rating
Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6, the body features a durable black Type III hard anodized finish. Engineered to comply with the IPX7 water resistance standard (capable of submersion for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter) as specified by ANSI standards.
Control electronics
An advanced electronic system forms the core of the flashlight, precisely managing the current delivered to the LED. As a result, the flashlight maintains consistent brightness in the chosen mode until the battery is fully drained. To prevent the LED from overheating in the highest mode, an electronic safeguard activates after 4 minutes, reducing the current and keeping the light stabilized at 300 lumens. The electronic system also handles mode selection and retains memory of the last used setting.
Ultraviolet light
The flashlight features a UV mode delivering 580 mW of power and operating at a wavelength of 365 nm. Emitting ultraviolet light, it enables verification of banknote authenticity and checks on watermarked documents. Additionally, it assists in detecting fluorescent components that are invisible under normal lighting conditions.
Integrated 1050 mAh battery
Equipped with an integrated lithium-polymer battery offering a 1050 mAh capacity, the flashlight supports charging via the included Olight USB MCC 1A magnetic charger. LEDs situated beneath the switch provide a clear indication of the current battery level.
The battery comes with a one-year warranty.

The price isn't small, but the package in the Militaria envelope does the job, and inside the packaging is wonderful and SHE. Great light, strong UV (maybe even too strong), the laser is ok. The clip is interesting. There's a minor drawback. The individual charging system. I understand the idea, but it's a pity you have to carry an extra cable with you.

I also had concerns about whether a flashlight of this shape would sit comfortably in my pocket, but it's really fine. Light, strong, I often take it with me. It has UV which is useful, for example, in a hotel. It’s better to use than a round one. I recommend it.

I was a bit worried about this flashlight in terms of how it would feel in the hand and sit in the pocket, because I always used small AAs loose in the pocket. The Arkfeld turned out to be not as big as I thought and is very comfortable to carry and use - the light it gives is sufficient for my needs, and UV is a great addition - I recommend it because it's really a pleasant lamp - build quality and charger are very good.
