First impression after opening the box: a big "wow," you can see the company's professionalism. Even the box shows attention to detail, drawings showing how to charge the flashlight, lots of extras: lanyard, magnetic charging cable, pouch, clip. For me, the plus is the large number of lighting modes from 0.5 lumens to 1200 lumens, a total of 6 modes. The flashlight already came in handy at night (10 pm) when mounting a car battery for a friend—the flashlight clipped to the trunk and it was as bright as day.

This is already another Olight Baton flashlight model. In the previous version, you had to remove the battery to charge it, but now you don’t have to. Thanks to the clip and attaching it to the cap brim, it works like a headlamp. It has several lighting modes, and you can also enable the lock mode. Superb flashlight. I recommend it.

Overall OK, but there are downsides. I bought this flashlight after losing my old reliable Baton s1a. Yes – on the plus side, the light color is nicer, the beam shape is better refined, and the magnet is stronger. Downsides – the battery can't be charged in a regular charger, so unfortunately you're tied to Olight's extra cable. And second – if you turn off the flashlight in high mode, it remembers the setting only for a few minutes, then always turns on in mid. You can probably get used to it, but at first it's a bit of a letdown.

The flashlight works well overall, the side button is well thought out and easy to use. There is also a strong magnet on the back of the flashlight, allowing it to be easily attached to metal surfaces. Unfortunately, this is also a drawback, because I wanted to put it in a bag that contains, among other things, a wallet with credit cards, an intercom chip, and other electronics that could be damaged by a strong enough magnet. So I wrote to the official OLIGHT store (UK). They recommend carrying the flashlight separately. It's a pity, as it's quite impractical.

Personally, I don't like the corpse-pale color of the light, which downright "floods" the illuminated objects. A weaker flashlight with higher CRI and a warmer color illuminates much better and things are more visible in its light. It's also bad that this flashlight has a bare lens, not protected by an additional glass. Besides that, it uses dedicated, weird batteries. Other flashlights somehow manage to charge magnetically with standard batteries. Olight is just making a cash grab. This brand is like the Apple of flashlights, unfortunately. :c It's small, strong and pretty, but this light color, bare lens, and dedicated batteries really discouraged me from buying Olight's products. This is not how it's done...
