21700 14.4 V battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, powerbank function

Power is supplied by a 21700 14.4V rechargeable battery with a 4500 mAh capacity, recharged through a USB-C port. The battery also serves as a powerbank with a maximum output of 18W, making it suitable for charging a range of electronic devices, such as mobile phones or action cameras.

Operating modes

Simple and intuitive operation characterizes the flashlight. A single press of the switch allows for easy mode changes, while the illuminated switch additionally indicates the current battery charge level.

    Olight Gotorch is a powerful bike light offering excellent illumination and solid build quality. It performs well during night-time off-road rides, providing a wide beam and good visibility. The high-capacity battery allows for long operation, and the power bank function increases its practicality. Unfortunately, there are mounting problems, as the clamps are too large for thinner handlebars (e.g., 7/8”), and the lack of a quick-release system makes daily use difficult. Additionally, installing the battery pack requires sturdy fastening, which can be problematic on lightweight bikes.

    Admittedly, this gadget is a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth considering for your bike. I completed the Pomorska500 cycling rally on a single charge with this gadget, and when I returned, there was still plenty of battery life left.
