Fast order processing, very good quality of the revolver, all elements fit as they should. The revolver arrived lubricated, which is also a plus. Overall, beautiful craftsmanship and, most importantly, the revolver works flawlessly and without jams. I recommend this model with a clear conscience.
Faithful reproduction of a percussion-cap revolver first manufactured by the American brand Remington. The 1858 New Model Army Sheriff is a 6-shot black powder, muzzle-loading revolver. The 1858 version was the world’s first to utilize a closed frame, enhancing construction reliability and durability.
Constructed from stainless steel and outfitted with a 5.5-inch barrel in .44 caliber. The grips are crafted from walnut. The trigger guard is made from brass.
Equipped with mechanical aiming sights, featuring a fixed front sight and rear sight.
Firing mechanism operates in Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked before each shot The cocking system offers two positions: half-cock for fitting percussion caps, and full-cock for discharging.
A loading lever (plunger) is hinge-mounted beneath the barrel to assist with seating lead balls into the cylinder chambers.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Pietta.
F.lli Pietta is an Italian manufacturer from Brescia, founded in 1963 by Giuseppe Pietta, which has combined tradition with precision craftsmanship from the very beginning. In 1966, the first shotguns were produced, and by 1974, the company had gained international recognition by fulfilling a contract for 10 000 replicas of revolvers such as the 1851 Navy, Colt Army, Remington, Paterson, and Le Mat. This success cemented Pietta's position as a specialist in faithful reconstructions of 19th-century weapons. The brand was one of the first to introduce the "100% made in Italy" label, emphasizing the quality of its products. Today, run by the founder's sons, Alessandro and Alberto, it is one of the most respected manufacturers of historical replicas, chosen by collectors, reenactors, and shooting enthusiasts around the world.

Beautifully made and very well fitted, gap 0.1. In the Uberti Cattleman I have 0.3 - maybe I just got that particular piece. It seems to me that, contrary to what is written in forums comparing Pietta and Uberti, Pietta is actually better finished. There aren’t such sharp edges and angles as with Uberti (I’m comparing to the Cattleman). I mean the edges where the rear grip frame connects in the Cattleman, the front frame with the trigger guard with the main frame, the sharp grooves of the individual screws. To my eye, I don't see a difference in the depth of the barrel thread (greater according to data, almost twice as much in Uberti). On the other hand, compared to the same model 1858 from Uberti, one disadvantage of the Pietta is the lack of a barrel crown. But I like the shorter lower section of the barrel compared to the end of the ramrod on the Pietta. When buying the 1858 model, I consciously chose the Pietta, not so much because of the price—as I own another Uberti model, I just wanted to own something from Pietta as well. And I had the chance to see it earlier in a store, though I later bought it online. Generally beautiful craftsmanship, I highly recommend it. An extra plus for Militaria.pl—I ordered the pistol on Sunday just before 9 PM, and on Monday at 10 in the morning, the DPD courier already delivered it.
