Faithful reproduction of a percussion-cap revolver, historically produced by the American manufacturer Remington. The Steel Target is a 6-round muzzle-loading, black powder revolver. The 1858 variant was the first worldwide to introduce a closed frame, ensuring improved reliability and durability of the construction.
Crafted from black oxidized steel, and fitted with an 8-inch, .44 caliber barrel. The grip panels are fashioned from walnut wood. The trigger guard is manufactured from brass.
The Target version comes with large mechanical sights, including a front sight and an adjustable rear sight.
Firing control relies on Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked for every shot. The cocking mechanism provides two positions: half-cock for fitting percussion caps to the nipples, and full-cock to discharge the weapon.
A loading lever (plunger) is mounted under the barrel, specially designed for seating lead balls into the cylinder chambers.
